Kristin Witbeck Lee has been writing as long as she has been painting. She studied writing at Bennington College, Connecticut College and the New York State Writers Institute in Saratoga Springs, and in fiction workshops with novelist Charles Bock. Her poems, stories and essays grow from the same places as her paintings: memory, family, Seneca (Onödowá’ga) heritage and close attention to the natural world.

Her debut novel, Signs You Are the Problem, is forthcoming.
